You have two options: The shipping agent will contact the Notify Party mentioned on the B/L about the arrival of the shipment, or you can contact the shipping agent directly around one week before the estimated arrival date of the shipping vessel. To get in touch with the shipping agent, please follow these steps:
Visit your CAP to find the name of the carrier (shipping company) for your vessel.
Click on the highlighted "Shipping Agent" in your CAP to view the list of all agents.
In the list, locate the section corresponding to your port of discharge.
Search for the cell that corresponds to the correct carrier from step 1.
The shipping agent listed next to the correct carrier in step 4 is the one you should contact.
Please wait until approximately one week before the estimated arrival date of your shipping vessel to reach out to them, as they will not have the requested information before that time.
