What is the Notify Party?
The Notify Party is the person the shipping
agent contacts to inform about the confirmed arrival date of the vessel at the
port. If you have a private clearing agent, you can provide their information
here. However, declaring a clearing agent on the B/L is not mandatory. If you
haven't hired an agent, you can simply write "Same as Consignee."
